# Enable/Disable a User

## Using MailEnable Administration Console (GUI):

### 1. To Disable a User:

* <mark style="color:green;">Open the MailEnable Administrator program on the server.</mark>&#x20;
* <mark style="color:green;">Navigate to the "Messaging Manager" tab.</mark>&#x20;
* <mark style="color:green;">Locate "Post Offices" and find the relevant user.</mark>&#x20;
* <mark style="color:green;">Right-click on the user and select "Enable".</mark>&#x20;

### 2. To Enable a User:

* <mark style="color:green;">Go to the same</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">**Mailboxes**</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">section.</mark>
* <mark style="color:green;">Right-click the mailbox →</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">**Properties**</mark><mark style="color:green;">.</mark>
* <mark style="color:green;">**Check**</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">the ✅</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">**Mailbox Enabled**</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">box.</mark>
* <mark style="color:green;">Click</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">**Apply**</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">or</mark> <mark style="color:green;"></mark><mark style="color:green;">**OK**</mark><mark style="color:green;">.</mark>
